These proposals follow on from earlier 422 unit residential and 101 bed hotel schemes occupying the same site, which were consented by Reading Borough Council in December 2021 and November 2019 respectively.
Given time elapsed, the hotel consent has now fallen away. Further to substantial technical due diligence, the residential consent has also been found to be undeliverable.
